This particular type of asphalt paving allows water to penetrate it quickly. This type of asphalt is used for waterproofing and drainpipes, especially in areas with frequent water flows, such as roadsides and the edges of sidewalks.
This results in less slippery surfaces for pedestrians and vehicles. However, this is not a full-service treatment; it only protects the area from the water.
It will not cover the pavement from UV rays or other elements that may deteriorate it over time.
